The most recent version of the guidelines were drawn up by the Professional Guidelines and Practices (Anatomy) Committee in September 2017.
Anatomy Associations Advisory Committee Guidelines for Anatomical Examination
Members of the Committee are drawn from the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland (now the Anatomical Society), the British Association of Clinical Anatomists and the Institute of Anatomical Sciences. The Guidelines are informed by the legal framework of the Human Tissues Act, but are separate from any guidance issued by the HTA.
