Abstract submissions and invited talks allied to a broad craniofacial theme will form the core of the meeting with a range of other topics included as well. We will be based on the main University of Liverpool campus and relocate to the famous docklands for the gala dinner. Come enjoy some Liverpudlian hospitality, listen to some wonderful science and sample the many delights our city has to offer.
The aim of the Anatomical Society's Scientific Meetings is to promote science and research in the anatomical sciences.

CARDIPH: a card game for healthcare educators
Mrs Jullie Browne (Cardiff University)
Dr Katie Webb (Cardiff University)
This workshop introduces “CARDiph” - the Card Game for Interprofessional Healthcare. The purpose of the game is to encourage participants to collaborate in teams to plan and design an innovative and interactive teaching and learning intervention. Thanks to its element of chance, resource constraints and risk, “CARDiph” accurately reproduces the challenges of ‘real world’ educational design and delivery.
Participants will be introduced to the game and its learning and teaching principles. They will also be invited to play “CARDIPH” during the workshop and then to reflect and feedback on the potential of playful learning and collaborative educational practice within their own education settings.
This is an AS Education Committee organised activity and has 36 spaces available. To reserve a place, please contact the Educational Committee (education@anatsoc.org.uk).
Outreach is Not Out-of-Reach
Mr Kris Philips (University of Central Lancashire)
Ms Betzy Manners (University of Liverpool)
Description: Have you thought about running an outreach event but don’t know where to start? Or do you have ideas for an outreach event that you would like to get people from other institutions on board with? During this workshop, you will be given an opportunity to discuss potential ways we can engage the public in anatomy.
Aim: To encourage early career anatomists to think creatively and collaborate on projects designed to share knowledge of anatomy with the public.
This workshop has 25 spaces available. To reserve a place please contact Ms Danya Sone (D.Stone@bsms.ac.uk).
